Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences
A dynamic major that is interdisciplinary in nature and provides flexible options that allow students to prepare for many kinds of health careers. The online Health Sciences degree program provides the opportunity for students with an interest in the health professions to explore the many opportunities in the field and to develop the knowledge, values and interpersonal skills needed to be successful in today's health and human service setting. All required coursework is offered online, on the Vermillion campus and select courses offered in Sioux Falls and Rapid City.

The online Graduate Certificate in Long-Term Care Management is a 12-credit hour program designed to prepare participants to better meet the needs of the rapidly aging and long-lived population through online coursework.

Master of Business Administration - Health Services Administration specialization
This program prepares students for health administration careers. The mission is to improve the delivery of health services and the health of the populations served through the education of professional managers. The educational philosophy is to provide a balance among general, management, and health services education. The minimum amount of credit hours required for the Online M.B.A. program is 33 credit hours.
Master of Science in Administration - Health Services Administration
M.S. in Administration online coursework focuses on the practical application of administrative theory, and the development of an intellectual framework for analyzing and successfully addressing the challenges faced by modern administrators. Graduates of the program are prepared to lead and manage organizations; analyze, think critically, solve problems, and make decisions; adequately consider the ethical and legal implications of their administrative decisions; and communicate effectively with organizational members and stakeholders.
Master of Public Health (M.P.H.)
The program at the University of South Dakota develops public health practitioners and leaders to address public health needs of rural communities. In partnership with South Dakota State University, the program adopts an interprofessional approach to five core areas of public health: Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Services Administration, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Environmental Health. The M.P.H. program is the most widely recognized professional credential for practice and leadership in public health. The Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) is the only program of its kind in the state and is offered online.

Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences (Ph.D.)
The interprofessional Ph.D. in Health Sciences is designed to prepare practicing health care professionals to assume leadership roles in academia, research, and/or health and human services practice settings. Designed for working professionals, the core curriculum is comprised of four content themes: teaching, leadership, advanced practices and scholarship.
